Bijan is a specialist in communication for civil society. His foremost interest is in harnessing the power of modern media for civic advancement. While many focus on the potential of "Web 2.0" technologies in development cooperation and pro-poor activities to overcome poverty, Bijan is interested in the social foundations of a civil society reaching out to connect and advance their agendas next to businesses and political institutions. Current Projects  Development of an international learning initiative harnessing the modern media technologies to bring together young researchers and students with the laureates of the "Alternative Nobel Prize". Public Relations for Egyptian Civil Society  European public relations and corporate communications for the renowned social entrepreneur and civil society organisation "SEKEM Development Foundation" from Cairo, Egypt. Project Management and Consulting  Contribution to the project management and consulting work by CIWI GmbH, a German technology firm based in Ulm. Pro Photography  Bijan is also a photographer and produces the necessary imagery to present non-profit, for-profit, and social ventures in their best light.
