Hosting a Workshop at The Tällberg Forum
I will be co-contributing to the session “How can communicators protect the global commons?” at this year’s Tällberg Forum, a high-level gathering of global NGOs, bright-minded individuals, social entrepreneurs, enterprise CEOs, and other dignitaries. This year’s forum features a keynote address by Paul Kagame, president of Rwanda…
My session will circle around the question of how communicators and networkers can foster citizen engagement in a globalised world of increasing government control and greatly improved social networking capabilities at the same time.
I will be on a panel with the director of DG Communication at the European Commission and the chief PR officer of Shell, among others. In the audience will be several laureates of the “Alternative Nobel Prize” given by the foundation for which I am attending. The composition of the group alone should make for an excellent time.
I will do my best to tweet from the event.
Do drop by should you be at Tällberg. I will post more information as it becomes available.
