The Georgian Conflict
With the events in Georgia rapidly unfolding, I may have to cancel my business trip to the country that was scheduled to take place in late August to early September. Many of the cities being bombed these hours are situated along the railway route I was planning to take from Tbilisi to Batumi.
However, I have found myself in the privileged position of receiving more informative news through in-the-field channels bypassing the large media outlets.
Trying to support “citizen engagement” in the best sense, I will try to relay much of what I hear through my Twitter account.
You are much invited to follow me there.
